Please read these terms carefully before using this website 

1. These terms and Conditions apply to all transactions generated by you and the Notbox.co.uk Internet site. 

2. The owner of this web site is Notbox Trading Limited, Finsgate, 5-7 Cranwood Street London EC1V 9EE.

3. Customers who shop online must be 18 years or over, and have registered. When you make a purchase you will be asked to provide your name, billing address, delivery address, telephone number and credit or debit card details. 

4. Should you choose a username and password on completion of registration, you are responsible for keeping this information safe and should not disclose this information to anyone else. If you feel your password has been compromised, you must alter it immediately. 

5. You undertake that all details supplied on the account for the purpose of ordering and purchasing goods are correct, and the credit or debit card you are using is your own. 

6. Your personal information will be stored by us in order to make it easier for you each time you order. However, you can change your personal information at any time using the facilities provided under 'Your Account’. Should your personal information alter it is your responsibility to inform Notbox, or amend any changes via ’Your Account’, as soon as possible. 

7. Notbox.co.uk respects your privacy and will use your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Cookies are used to store information about our customers but only if you wish us to.

8. You agree that e-mail can be used as a means of communication. 

9. Payment for goods must be paid for using Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, Delta/Connect. No other payment methods are accepted. 

10. Your order and personal details are transported securely. We use industry standard encryption between you and the secure server that handles your order. We recommend that you do not communicate your payment card details to anyone, including us, by e-mail. We cannot be responsible for any losses you may incur in transmitting information to us by Internet link or by e-mail. Any such loss shall not be borne either wholly or partly by us, and shall be entirely your responsibility. 

11. All credit or debit cards used to place orders are debited at the time the order is placed. 

12. Notbox offers customers the facility for exchanging goods, or obtaining a refund, which is in addition to your legal rights. All we ask is that the goods are unused; that you provide suitable proof of purchase, and that the goods are returned in their original packaging to Notbox within 28 days of receipt. Please see ’Returns’ for further details. 

13. Distant Selling Regulations - Contract Cancellation (for a customer placing an order from a country that is a Member State of the European Union): 

If you are contracting with us as a consumer on-line, or by phone, you have the right to cancel your contract at any time up to 7 days after the day on which you receive the goods you ordered.

- We will provide customers with a full refund (including the shipping charge made for dispatching goods) in the event that the customer cancels their complete order at any time up to 7 working days after their receipt of goods
- We will provide customers with a full refund (including the shipping charge made for dispatching goods) in the event that the customer returns their complete order because they wish to receive a refund, even though they might not have formally cancelled their order in writing, at any time up to 7 working days after their receipt of goods - Should you return part of an order we do not refund the shipping charge made for dispatching goods.
- Should you require an exchange we do not refund the shipping charge made for dispatching goods. However, we do not charge for sending the alternative items.

You must take reasonable care of the goods whilst in your possession, and they must be returned to us promptly. Should you wish to cancel your contract please e-mail info@thenotboxcompany.com stating that you wish to cancel your contract.

If the cancellation occurs after the order has been delivered to you, it will then be your responsibility to take reasonable care of the goods and return the goods to Notbox unused and in a resalable condition. Notbox recommends using a guaranteed delivery service such as Royal Mail Recorded or Special Delivery, to ensure the goods are insured, and can be tracked, as Notbox will not accept liability for goods lost in transit to us.

The cost of return postage is at the customer’s expense, unless Notbox has sent incorrect, damaged, or faulty goods.

14. Customers have 10 working days from dispatch of an order to report any shortages, miss-deliveries or non-deliveries. Notbox.co.uk will not be liable for any such claims made after this time. Email: info@thenotboxcompany.com

15. Any refunds will be re-credited to the card used on the appropriate order. Any refunds will be processed as soon as possible and in any event, within 30 days of the refund being approved.

16. When an order is placed you will be sent an e-mail to confirm your order has been received by Notbox.co.uk. This e-mail does not guarantee we can dispatch your order as it has yet to be processed. Notbox.co.uk may cancel or amend your order at any time as a result of security checks or insufficient stock levels or price discrepancy. Should any problems occur with your order an e-mail will be sent to you.

17. In the unlikely event that you receive goods which are not what you ordered or that are damaged or defective, or are of a different quantity or size to that stated on your order, Notbox.co.uk shall, at its own option, make good any shortages or non-delivery, replace or repair any damaged or defective goods, or refund the amount originally paid for the goods in question. This is providing that you notify Notbox.co.uk of the problem within 10 working days of delivery of the goods. Your statutory rights are not affected.

18. Notbox.co.uk will not pass on your personal information or credit/debit card details to any third party.

19. You may track the status of your order via ’Your Account’. Please select ’My Orders’ to view all orders placed using your account.

20. Goods will be sent to the address given by you on your order and stated in the confirmation e-mail. If your confirmation e-mail does not contain an appropriate delivery address you are obliged to contact Notbox.co.uk as soon as possible so that we can alter the required details before dispatch. All of our couriers require a signature upon receipt of the order for the security of your goods.

21. Please be advised that orders outside the EU may be subject to local taxes, import duties or customs charges, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Notbox.co.uk is unable to accept responsibility for these charges levied by other countries. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; Notbox.co.uk would therefore recommend that customers contact their local customs office for further information.

22. Please note that when shipping products internationally, you should be aware that cross-border shipments are subject to opening and inspection by customs authorities.

23. The Website contains a large number of Goods and it is always possible that, despite our best efforts, some of the Goods listed on the Website may be incorrectly priced. We will normally verify prices as part of our confirmation procedure so that, where any item's correct price is less than our stated price, we will charge the lower amount when dispatching the relevant Goods to you. If an item's correct price is higher than the price stated on the Website, we will normally, at our discretion, either contact you for instructions before confirming the Contract for the Goods or reject your order and notify you of such rejection. We are under no obligation to provide the Goods to you at an incorrect (lower) price, even after we have sent you a Confirmation Email, if the pricing error is obvious and unmistakable and could reasonably have been recognised by you as a mis-pricing. All items are subject to availability.

24. All prices displayed on Notbox.co.uk are inclusive of VAT at 20%. Deliveries to countries outside the European Union are not liable for VAT and therefore we will deduct this from your total order cost.

25. Prices indicated as reductions relate to products that have been on sale at the higher crossed-out price for at least the previous 28 days.

26. Promotional offers at Notbox.co.uk may not always be available.

27. Competition Terms and Conditions:
- To enter a competition you must be a UK resident and aged 18 or over.
- Competitions are not open to employees of Notbox.co.uk.
- Only one entry per person. No third party or bulk entries. All entries must be received on or before the specified closing date.
- Notbox.co.uk reserves the right to amend these rules at any time. Notbox.co.uk may also create rules which will apply to a specific competition only. If we do this we will publish the amended competition rules and/or specific competition rules on the relevant competition page.
- The prize is non-transferable and there is no cash alternative. The prize is subject to availability. Notbox.co.uk reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value at any time.
- No responsibility can be accepted for entries that fail to arrive or are delayed or corrupt in any way.
- Notbox.co.uk will endeavour to send prizes within 28 days of the competition end date but cannot guarantee this delivery time.
- The promoter reserves the right to hold or cancel a prize in the event of non-compliance with these terms and conditions.
- Entry to the draw signifies acceptance of these terms and conditions.

28. We will make every effort to deliver orders within the delivery option requested, at the time the order was placed. However we cannot guarantee this and will not accept responsibility if your order is delivered outside this time. At the time of delivery a signature will be required, the signature of the person accepting delivery will be proof that Notbox.co.uk has fulfilled the order and as such ownership of the goods shall pass to the customer.

29. Notbox.co.uk have no liability to you for any delay in delivery of products ordered or any other matters to the extent that the delay is due to any event outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, flood, fire, labour disputes, strikes, lock-outs, riots, civil commotion, malicious damage, explosion, governmental actions and any other similar events.

30. Notbox.co.uk has no liability (including liability for negligence) for the acts or omissions of telecommunications service providers or for failures of, or faults in their networks and equipment.

31. Colour accuracy of the website cannot be guaranteed, and will vary according to the resolution and screen type of your computer.

32. All design, text and imagery on Notbox.co.uk is the copyright of Notbox Trading Limited. Permission is granted to electronically copy and to print in hard copy portions of this website for the purpose of placing and order with Notbox.co.uk and using this website as a shopping resource only. Any other use of the materials on this website including reproduction for purposes other than those noted above, modification, distribution, transmission, broadcasting republication, downloading or uploading without prior written permission of Notbox.co.uk is strictly prohibited.

33. Notbox.co.uk reserves the right to: (i) alter the content of the website at any time without notice to you. Your continued use of this site implies that you accept to be bound by any updated version. (ii) decline service to any individual customer.

Notbox.co.uk shall not be liable to you where performance of any of our obligations is prevented, frustrated or impeded by reason of acts of God, war and other hostilities, civil commotion, accident, strikes, lock outs, trade disputes, acts or restraints of Government, imposition or restrictions of imports or export or any other cause not within reasonable control of Notbox.co.uk.

35. This web site is controlled and operated by Notbox.co.uk from its offices in England. We make no representation that materials on this Site are appropriate or available for use in other locations, and accessing them from territories where their contents are illegal is prohibited. Customers who access this web site from locations outside the United Kingdom do so at their own risk and on their own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local laws, to the extent that any local laws are applicable.

36. All terms and conditions contained on this web site shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law. By using this web site, you hereby submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales for the resolution of any dispute arising under or in connection with these Terms or your use of this web site.

37. Nothing in these terms shall in any way be deemed to restrict or affect your statutory rights under English law.

38. If any part of these terms and conditions is found to be unenforceable as a matter of law, all other parts of these terms and conditions shall not be affected and shall remain in force.

These terms supersede any and all other conditions, understandings, commitments, agreements or representations (except fraudulent misrepresentations) relating to your purchase, whether oral or in writing, and contain the entire agreement between Notbox.co.uk and you relating to your purchase. We would advise that you print off a copy of these terms and conditions for your reference. You are responsible for reading the terms and conditions in full.
